AGFS’s Australian Independent Social Worker
Mr. Arthur Gajewski, our company’s managing director, is an Australian qualified social worker. He has obtained his Bachelor and Post Grad degrees at universities in South Australia and Queensland, respectively. He has also worked as a child protection social worker at an Intake and Assessment Team in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, Queensland for a number of years- before moving to the UK in 2004. He has considerable experience in assessment and court work under Australian child protection legislation, including its state-specific provisions. Arthur has maintained strong links with Australia, including his former social work colleagues and family.
Arthur is available to take on ISW assessments in the context of court proceedings in the UK. As a UK court expert, combined with his Australian experience and contacts, Arthur is ideally placed to engage in assessment work with families resident in Australia, whether expats or indeed Australian nationals. As a Polish born, naturalised Australian himself, Arthur also understands the challenges and opportunities migrants to Australia might come across, as well as social support provisions available to them.
As an Australian national he is free to visit the country as he pleases, without the need for visas or work permits. His contacts within several Australian states and territories are a useful source of relevant information pertaining to the current legislation and social work practice concerning parenting and kinship carer assessments.
Please liaise directly with Arthur on our company’s contact portals with any enquiries regarding family assessments in Australia.
